DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL

Having been proven to dramatically cut down on accidents - Dynamic Stability Control can be a motorer's best friend. The optional DSC system takes Traction Control to a whole new level. First, the system uses sensors to measure the steering angle, yaw and lateral acceleration to determine the direction you want to go (yes, we actually used the word "yaw" in a sentence). Then, if the actual path of your MINI starts to stray from the path you intended, the DSC system will kick in by applying the right amount of brake pressure to individual wheels and manipulating the engine torque. The end result? A very powerful ally in the war against loss-of-control.
