FULLY ELECTRONIC THROTTLE

Most car engineers are satisfied using cable for the throttle. After all, it practically responds right away. But practically wasn't good enough for us. So we engineered a 100% electronic acceleration system that sends a pulse to the engine the instant you press the gas.

In addition to delivering juice more quickly, the electronic throttle is also in constant communication with your MINI's stability control systems to help manage engine torque. When necessary, the stability system will automatically tell the throttle system to back off a bit to help enhance traction and control at all times.
