All MINI Countryman models are available with a quick-shifting six-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Those looking for a little extra pick-me-up will love the increased shift points and firmness of Sport mode. You can switch into Sport mode by flicking the shifter left into the Sport gate or by pressing the Sport button on the switch block. Hardcore MINI Bahn-burners can toggle through the gears manually with the floor-mounted shift handle. Giddy-up.
