All MINI Cooper models are available with a quick-shifting six-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Those looking for a little extra pick-me-up will love the increased shift points and firmness of Sport mode. You can switch into Sport mode by flicking the shifter left into the Sport gate or by pressing the Sport button at the shifter’s base. Hardcore MINI Bahn-burners can also toggle through the gears manually with the shift handle. Giddy-up.
