ABS + CBC + EBD BRAKES

With the latest generation of 4 sensor, anti-lock brakes you know you?ll be able to stop on a dime while remaining in complete control. The MINI Countryman has 16? brakes on the front and rear axle, with dimension of 294 mm x 22mm and 280 x 10 mm, respectively. These impressive brakes, with inner-vented front brake discs, provide excellent stopping power and incredibly short brake distances. And to enhance agility and handling even more, every MINI comes standard with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Cornering Brake Control (CBC).
ELECTRONIC BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBUTION
Different loads of cargo require different brake force distributions. In other words, stopping while driving solo demands a different brake response than stopping with your bowling ball collection in the back seat. That?s where EBD comes in. It helps distribute brake forces to different wheels depending on your MINI?s current load and balance.
CORNERING BRAKE CONTROL
If a driver of a MINI brakes while cornering at speed or changing lanes, Cornering Brake Control (CBC) will help improve the vehicle's stability. By optimizing the braking effects being applied to each wheel and evening out the braking pressure from side-to-side, the CBC system helps drivers maintain control at critical times on the road.
