If everything in the center console of your MINI seems perfectly placed, there's a reason. We won the Monte Carlo Rally three times, in part, because we know how to design a cockpit that inspires motoring. Our interior puts the lessons we've learned into practice, integrating roll-cage-like down-tubes and easy-to-use chrome-finished toggle switch instrument controls that are oh-so-satisfying to flip. Most noticeably, we mounted the speedometer (plus fuel gauge and warning lights) smack dab in the middle of the dashboard because it lets your co-pilot monitor critical vehicle data at a glance. And today, whether you race or not, it's still a great thing to share your MINI's vital stats with your passengers. Since you get to drive, it's the least you can do for them.
