The 2013 Mini John Cooper Works Gp

Our Fastest Mini. Ever.

The fastest production MINI ever has arrived. A 211-hp turbo-charged 1.6 L direct-injected engine powers the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP from 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. With only 2,000 being produced worldwide and about 500 planned for US release, you’ll have to be just as fast to get your hands on one.

Mini Interior

Please Remain Seated for Takeoff.

Adding to the list of reasons you won’t ever want to get out of the GP: a pair of special-edition RECARO sport seats specially designed for the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP, complete with side-impact airbags.

Born in a wind tunnel.
Raised on the track.

The large front and rear aprons, side skirts and rear spoiler are the product of countless hours in the wind tunnel. Along with the full valance tray, they make the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP an aerodynamic, asphalt-chewing machine. And, just like the first GP, we tossed the rear seats in favor of a rear strut reinforcement brace to minimize weight and body sway. It all adds up to a scorching Nürburgring lap time of 8:23 – more than 18 seconds faster than the original GP.

Mini Warned

CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

Aposematism: when animals have sharply contrasting highlights to warn predators they're not to be trifled with. Wasps have yellow stripes. Coral snakes have contrasting bands. The John Cooper Works GP has red mirror caps, brake ducts and signature badging.

TURN HEADS AND CORNERS.

Exclusive 17" MINI Challenge wheels, high-performance tires designed in a special partnership with Kumho, adjustable coil over suspension and 6-piston Brembo® front calipers for extra stopping power.
