WHAT HAPPENS IF I BREAK DOWN AND NEED A TOW?
Even the most reliable vehicle may sometimes require attention. And for this, MINI provides a valuable 24-hour Roadside Assistance Program at no charge for every vehicle that falls within the new-vehicle warranty period. This service is available in all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico. Roadside Assistance and other owner benefits are available by calling (866) 646-4772 You will find a Roadside Assistance Identification Card within your vehicle portfolio. It contains the number of the 24-hour, toll-free number for MINI Roadside Assistance. For your convenience, you can also find that information on a decal that is affixed in your MINI's cargo compartment. WHAT SERVICES ARE COVERED UNDER THE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM?
Emergency Towing and or wrecker service for mechanical breakdown and accidents is provided free of charge. Coverage: New MINI's - 4 years/unlimited miles from the original in-service date. MINI NEXT - 6 years/ unlimited miles from the original in-service date. Your vehicle will be towed to the nearest MINI dealer. You may elect to have your MINI towed to the MINI dealer of your choice, provided the dealer is within a 50 mile radius of the closest dealer. On-site Assistance for: Changing flat tires, jump starting, out of gasoline - limited to $100 per incident Emergency locked-out service, or towing to authorized MINI dealer - Up to $100 per locksmith incident, or towing as described above Trip-interruption policy: Reimbursement of lodging, meals, substitute transportation to reunite you with your MINI - For mechanical breakdowns covered under warranty when 100 miles or more from home. Limit $1000 per incident up to 5 days. Exclusions apply. Multi-driver protection - No cost
HOW DO ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE SERVICES GET PAID?
In most instances, services provided under the MINI Roadside Assistance Program do not require immediate payment. Usually, the car owner will be able to sign a receipt, so the service can be reimbursed by MINI Roadside Assistance. However, you - or the person driving your MINI - are responsible for any expenses related to parts, materials, or fuel.
