WHAT KIND OF WARRANTIES DO YOU OFFER?
At MINI, our commitment to quality, durability and customer satisfaction is clearly demonstrated by a 4-year/50,000 mile MINI Passenger Car Limited Warranty and a 12-year/unlimited-mileage warranty against rust and corrosion perforation. (Note, 12-year warranty applies to 2004 models and newer. WHO'S COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY?
Your MINI is covered, regardless of who's driving. For security purposes, the car owner/driver will need to prove ownership by presenting proper documentation, i.e. valid driver's license, registration, etc.
ARE THE TIRES UNDER WARRANTY?
Tires are warranted by their respective manufacturer. All tire warranty information can be found in the tire manufacturer's warranty statement.
WHAT KIND OF WARRANTIES DO YOU OFFER ON DEALER-INSTALLED ACCESSORIES?
When your MINI Motoring Accessories are installed by your dealer prior to delivery, the accessories will carry the full new vehicle warranty. So the best time to order your accessories is when you order your new MINI. If the installation is made by your dealer after the initial retail sale of your MINI, the accessory will be warranted for the balance of the new vehicle warranty period, or two years from its date of installation, whichever is greater.
DO I NEED TO USE AN AUTHORIZED MINI DEALER FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS?
Yes. To obtain services under any of these warranties, the vehicle must be brought to the service department of any authorized MINI dealer. All current and future MINI Dealers ARE affiliated with BMW, but only those MINI Dealers (NOT all BMW centers) have been trained and have the special tools to properly repair and service MINIs.
