A FULL DAY
OF FUN.

“If anyone has told you anything about Southern California, it’s that we have both the mountains and the beach, so today we’re gonna go to both on a single charge with the all-electric MINI Countryman, and here’s the kicker: we’re gonna do the whole trip in a single charge. But today is more than just a MINI road trip, it’s about appreciating the natural wonders right here in our backyard and busting the myth that EVs can’t handle a full day of adventure.”

FROM PALMS
TO PINES.

“We started our day where my heart truly belongs: the beach. Since I grew up in LA, I’ve always had a deep connection with the ocean and surfing makes me feel incredibly close to the Earth. After a quick rinse, we were off to our next spot. We stopped at a local market to grab some snacks for our hike later and visited another local gem—our friends cafe. We love to work here during the day, listen to their vinyl record collection, and come back at night for their wood oven pizza. The best in town if you ask me!

From there, we headed in land for a first-time experience: witnessing the super bloom in Chino Hills. This is a phenomenon that happens in the spring after we get a wet, rainy winter, making the wildflowers bloom in a fantastic way. The coolest part is the drastic transition from our dry, somewhat barren landscape to these colorful and vibrant masses of flowers. It was beautiful and now for our third and final stop of the day, we’re heading up to Mount Baldy, the highest peak in Los Angeles.

We went from palm trees to pine trees in the same day. Even a couple of hours of nature reminds us of our deep connection with her, inspiring us to unplug from our phones and venture outdoors more often. Every time we come up here, we remember how close this was—just an hour away from home.”

Thanks to brake regeneration, the MINI Countryman SE ALL4 doubled its remaining range on the way back down from Mount Baldy.

“Life gets busy and gets crazy and we come up with a million excuses on why we can’t come up here.”

“Ten out of ten day. We went to the beach, jumped in the water, went to Chino Hills for the super bloom, and then to the top of Mount Baldy. We did all of that on a single charge. Today is evidence that you can still go on adventures and road trips in electric vehicles.”
